    Karen – Business Manager

    Karen runs the day-to-day operations of PSP Asphalt, keeping everything organised and moving smoothly behind the scenes. From managing enquiries and scheduling to overseeing client communication and admin, Karen is part of the team keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

    Jack – Projects Manager

    Jack leads our asphalt team. Specialising in repairing potholes and restoring utility trenches. With hands-on expertise and a focus on quality, Jack ensures a clean, durable finish on all reinstatement work. He also manages our private works, including domestic driveways, paths, and small commercial projects. His attention to detail and high standards make him a trusted point of contact for homeowners and private clients.

    Steve - Estimator

    Steve brings years of expertise to PSP Asphalt in his role as an Estimator. He plans projects, inspects sites, and makes clear, competitive proposals based on his knowledge of materials, logistics, and costs. His clear communication keeps clients informed and satisfied. From driveways to highway repairs, Steve helps deliver the reliable, professional results PSP Asphalt is known for.

Rob Pinel, Richard Syvret, and Chris Plain founded PSP Asphalt in 2008, bringing together their extensive knowledge and experience in the industry to establish a company specialising in high-quality tarmac surfacing. Their shared commitment to professionalism, reliability, and exceptional workmanship laid the foundation for a business that quickly earned a strong reputation across the sector. Focused on delivering tailored solutions for both commercial and residential projects, PSP Asphalt has grown steadily under their leadership, becoming a trusted name known for excellence in all aspects of tarmac and asphalt surfacing. After years of dedicated leadership and steady growth, the co-owners of PSP Asphalt made the decision to sell the business to new management, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the company. Driven by a desire to see PSP Asphalt continue to thrive and evolve, Rob Pinel, Richard Syvret, and Chris Plain carefully selected successors who share their values of quality, professionalism, and customer service. The transition has been designed to ensure continuity and preserve the strong reputation built since the company’s founding in 2008, while also bringing fresh energy and ideas to support future growth and innovation in the tarmac and surfacing industry.

In 2023, PSP Asphalt entered a new era under the ownership of Karen Dufty, Jack Surcouf, and Martin Skuce. Each brings their own expertise and passion to the business, ensuring a seamless continuation of the company’s strong reputation while driving it forward with fresh perspective. In 2026, the company saw a further restructure as Martin made the difficult decision to take early retirement. The company thanks him for all he has done throughout the years. Martin leaves the company in a capable hands of Karen and Jack, who continue to dedicate their time and expertise to enable the company to thrive.

Karen leads the day-to-day operations of PSP Asphalt, overseeing all aspects of the business with a focus on customer service, efficiency, and long-term growth. Jack manages the tarmac patching, bringing precision and reliability to maintenance repair projects and manages the private work division, delivering high-quality surfacing solutions for residential clients. Together, they are committed to upholding the standards set by the founders while evolving PSP Asphalt to meet the needs of a modern market.
